Ice Cream

Imagine the dreariness of a world without ice cream. There would be nothing floating in a root beer float, no à la mode, nothing cold and sweet waiting in the freezer on sleepless nights, no melted remnants to suck out of the bottom of sugar cones, no more nut and cherry garnishes topping a mound of whipped cream. Fortunately, we don’t have to worry about this scary scenario, as ice cream is firmly embedded in our culture and our palates.
